To earn this week’s Art Badge, complete this music-inspired art project in the style of Wassily Kandinsky, who thought of his paintings as “visual music.”

Because of this, music was very important to the first abstract artists, who used colors and shapes to represent how music made them feel. Week 3: Like music, abstract art expresses feelings and emotions. Week 2: This week we’ll be working with tangrams! You’ll be making your own set and using them to recreate elements from paintings, and creating your own composition while looking at and learning about art from around the world. Please share your art with us after completing this packet ! Through hands-on experimentation, you will learn about warm colors, cool colors, tints and shades, complementary colors, and more. Week 1: Create works of art to better understand color theory. You can print out your completion certificate here: Art | Code | Read | Explore | Make You can still send us photos of your projects for a chance to be featured on our website and social media!
